Levels and Types of Listening
Communication process among participants goes on with different types or levels of listening. Each level and each type of listening is characterized by some behaviors. Individuals listen at varied levels of effectiveness in routine life depending upon the circumstances and people around them. It becomes difficult for the listener when he/she faces criticism or feels fearful, angry or nervous while being corrected during conversations.
